9 DaysThe place in mid Himalayan range is unique in its grandeur and beauty in respect far surpassing any other portion of chamba district.The scenery is sublime and imposing and nature appears in her wildest and grandest moods.The great river “Chandrabhaga” rolls along in a deep and narrow gorges lashing itself into fury against adamantine cliffs,that confine it.Precipes spring from the brink,in places almost perpendicular to a height of one or two thousand feet,on lower ranges are grassy slopes of rich pasture with dense forests,while high overall,the stern and majestic mountains piled on one another attain in altitude of 18,000 to 21,000 feet rising far beyond the line of eternal snow.This valley is also a valley of waterfalls as you can wittness plenty of waterfalls on huge cliffs faling into chandrabhaga river if you come from Udaipur to Pangi.It is rough road trail with many high cliffs and nallas.The group of villages is dominated by pangwals,who profess Hinduism.One of the other thrilling approach to the valley is via Sach pass(4480 metres) on tough and tiring road.Suitable time to visit these remote places is from mid June to September.Mindal,Dharwas ,Hudan,Bhatori,ponto and sural are intersting village rich in culture of “The Pangi valley”
