WARU PASS TREK

Waru pass lies to the northwest to Palampur . Waru means “The gateway of Wind” and winds with very high velocity blow over this pass. The trek passes throught a number of intermediary ridges, dense forest, rivulets and snow nullahs. This trek is an easy one and poses no difficulty even for trekkers with little experience in trekking.

ITINERARY

DAY 1:Palampur – Satchali

Arrive at Palampur meet our Expert guide,you will be explained about the trek route and then start trek to Satchali 2879 mt.13km. from Palampur with lunch pack, is a place where water from seven different rivulet mingle.The trek goes all along the Awe Khad, a stream coming from the base of Waru Pass. Dinner & over night in camp.

DAY 2: Satchali- Thanetar

After an early b/f trek to Thanetar 2575 mt 16km. With lunch pack, it takes about three to four hrs to reach the pass and involves a moderately steep climb. Waru pass is comparatively at a lower height than the adjoining passes and is more windy as it is shaped like a funnel and seves as an out- let for scenery towards. The trek then descend steeply to Thanetar along glaciated nullah and on the way passes through Baoli Got 3485 mt. Dinner & over night in camp at Thanetar.

DAY 3: Thanetar- Nayagaon

After breakfast trek to Nayagaon / Dhog 2215 mt 12 km. This is an easy trail over slippery and slushy path. On the way there is a Kali temple at 3300 mt. Dinner & over night in camp at Nayagaon .End of the trek

DAY 4: Nayagaon

Take bus /Car to Onward Destination and end of the trip.
