Thamsar pass trek
Thamsar pass trek is an offbeat and gentle trail for Hiking and camping in the lap of Himalayas. It offers a scenic view of two mountain ranges namely Pir-Panjal and Dhauladhar located in the Western Himalayas. The trek is less explored and used by local shepherds and village peoples to bring their animals for grazing in summers.
Thamsar Pass is Situated at a altitude of 4550 Meters. The pass has panaromic view of beautiful glacial lakes, meandering rivers, Alpine meadows, and snow-capped mountain peaks.

Itinerary :
Day 1: Bir- Rajgundha -Plachak(2800 m)
Meet our Team at Bir and drive to Rajgundha which is 25 kilometres and take one hour to reach Rajgundha. Reaching there Start trek with our Guide to Plachak which is very gentle along the river Uhl is surrounded by rich green meadows and valley views. It offers the panoramic and mesmerizing sight of large mountain ranges.
The distance from Rajgundha to Plachak is about 8 km. It is a gateway to many small water streams and dense green woods. The whole path from Rajgundha to Plachak is a flat trail so you will reach here in couple of hours in Campsite.Overnight stay in Tents
Day 2: Palachak -Panhartu(3300 m)
After Breakfast start trek to Panhartu which is 11 kms .The Hike gives an amazing touch to your soul with a glimpse of mesmerizing greenery, beautiful landscapes.
We will ascend to the terrain with a backdrop of huge valleys. Later we will pass through the beautiful Johdi waterfall which is another gem of this location. Overnight stay in Tents
Day 3: Panhartu – Thamsar pass(4800m)-Panhartu
After breakfast walkthrough the forest and then on Rocky terrain and then on snow field to reach base of Thamsar pass and you can continue to reach at the top. The pass gives panaromic view of Greater Himalayas and gives view of Kangra valley and Ravi valley on other side.By evening return to Panhartu campsite for overnight stay.
Day 4: Panhartu -Rajgundha
Post breakfast we will retrace our steps to Rajgundha which will take 4-5 hours to to reach Road point .End of your memorabe trek and Take Cab to onward destiantion
